Berkeley's 1st Haircut

About two weeks ago before I left for Utah I decided to FINALLY get Berk's hair cut. I miss his long haired hippy look, BUT he looks so grown-up and super cute now. I went to the salon I go to that is why he has a pink smock on. June did such a great job. She is a FANTASTIC hair lady!

Adventure 4: Bonneville Dam & Fish Hatchery & Multnomah Falls

On Monday, July 6th we went on Summer Adventure #4. We first went to the visitor center at Bonneville Dam, 2nd the fish hatchery, & lastly we went to Multnomah Falls. It was a cool summer day (50's & 60's) - sweatshirt weather in the summer - I LOVE it! What a fun day we had with Anne Marie (my sis-in-law) and her kids Sean and Claire. The pics are not in order, which really bugs the OCD in me..but I trying to pretend it doesn't bug me!

There were so many colorful flowers everywhere...I love it

Berkeley kinda loves shoes - he loves to wear shoes, grab shoes,
carry around shoes, & EAT shoes.

I don't have a very good camera, but I had fun trying to capture this little guy.

How lucky am I to live next to so many beautiful places! This is Multnomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge.

Our Super Mellow 4th

We had a super mellow 4th of July this year. We hung out at grandma's in the backyard and ate some yummy food. Then we went over to our house and put the kids to bed - Carlie O had the BIGGEST - NASTIEST melt down EVER!! Good thing we skipped the fireworks this year. Then Anne Marie & Mom/Diane came over and we played some games. It was super mellow, but just right. I forgot to take pics of my kids in their patriotic get-up, but here are a few of us in the backyard.

Carlie, Daddy, & the Tractor

Daddy rented some heavy equipment to work on our backyard.

begin to show how covered in dirt he was.

Maybe someday I will have grass in the backyard! :)

Kah-Nee-Ta Warm Springs

On July 2nd Carlie, Berkeley, & I went to Kah-nee-ta Warm Springs with grandma Froebe, Kim, Jordan, Andres, & Adan. The water was fantastic - it was the perfect temperature!! They have big pools and slides and the water is warm because of the natural hot springs. Carlie was in the pool the whole time with her arm floaties and swim ring - she is a fish. Berk & I spent most of the time out of the pool. He does NOT enjoy the water, but he still had fun wandering around. I wore one of Corey's swim shirts all day because I got burnt the day before at Hood River Beach.
