Roslyn, Washington is Cicely, Alaska
I loved the show Northern Exposure so I took a little tour around Roslyn, Washington which was the real Cicely, Alaska.
That is Ruth-Anne's general store on the right.
Only difference is I am a little smaller than a moose.
The oldest bar in Washington...and the inspiration for Holling's tavern.
Dr. Joel Fleischman's office...now a gift shop
Corey never watched this show, but I made him pose for a cool photo.

The best part of the show was Chris (John Corbett) as the philosophical deejay. He was a major hottie. So here I am in front of the radio station.
Happy Birthday to Me!
Here is my new toy I got for my 39th birthday...so fun!!
Now I just need to learn how to use it!
I can't believe I am 39!!!!!!!
I had to go to regional camp director's meeting at Camp Ensign near Cle Elum Washington on March 20th since I am the stake camp director.
So my hubby and I made a weekend of it for my birthday. We rented a rustic cabin and when we got there we decided it was way toooo rustic. So we stayed one night in Cle Elum and another night in Ellensburg in hotels....so much better! It was so much fun to have a break from the kiddos (my mother in law watched the kids - so NICE), stay in a hotel, go out to eat a bunch, and spend some quality time with Corey. Plus the meeting was actually great and I learned a lot.
