We had a great time at dress rehearsal....Carlie will not be performing in the final performance because it is on Sunday and being the good little mormon family we will not be attending because it is the Sabbath. It is a shame, but dress rehearsal was fantastic. Carlie has come a long way since she started dance lessons. I really appreciate the patience of her fabulous teacher Miss Jayce at Studio Elan....she is AWESOME! :)

Berk's Party
Here is Berk's racetrack cake...I got the idea from http://www.familyfun.go.com/
We had a nice little 2nd birthday party for Berkeley on Saturday. We invited Corey's family (they all live relatively close by) and had shish-k-bobs, salads, racetrack cake, & some good times. He loved all his presents...picnic table, bean bag chair, Diego tricycle, etc.....BUT most of all I think he liked eating cake and playing with all his cousins outside.
Play Ball!
this is her first hit in a game!!! NO TEE!
This is Corey's solution to Berk running away....
This past Saturday Carlie had her first softball games (2 mini games). She really lucked out and got on a great team. The sponsor/coach buys all the girls hoodies, visors, shorts, & socks. It rocks! Carlie did much better than I thought she would at her game. Her last practice she cried the whole time, so I was really worried about her first games. She is the youngest and most inexperienced girl on the team by a mile.

She actually hit the ball when it was pitched to her!!! Hooray!! She ran like she was an airplane from base to base and even sat down for awhile in the outfield, BUT it was a good game and there were NO tears (that is HUGE for Carlie).
