The A Team!!!

We signed Carlie up for basketball and for some silly reason volunteered to be her coaches.  It was definetly a lot of work to be the coaches - especially since we had no idea how to coach 6/7 year old girls with no experience.  BUT, it was fun and we loved the girls on our team.  We had practice twice a week and two games every Saturday back to back for 7 weeks.  It was really fun to watch Carlie improve her skills and confidence.  If I can get her to be more aggressive (she is a wimp and way too nice) she might end up being a great ball player.  She has a very consistant shot and is at least a foot taller than all the other girls in the league.  If she puts her arms up there is NO WAY the other girl is going to make her shot...she can't see anything but Carlie....pretty rad.

Thank goodness for Haley's parents and their son Wyatt.  They watched over and entertained Berkeley while Corey and I tried to coach the games.  It would have been horrible without their help and Berkeley LOVED Wyatt!!

  1. You know I'm a fan of ANY girl who plays basketball--but I'm an especially big fan of the cute ones I'm related too!
    Way to go Carlie!
